Signature Trails in Ötztal, Tyrol
Welcome to Bike Republic Sölden: Relaxingly ascend to the starting point at 2,300 meters with the cable car, and embark on a diverse descent with the enduro bike. The Leiterberg Trails offer a perfect blend of constructed and natural trails above Sölden. Sometimes flowing along the contour lines, sometimes shaded through the forest, and occasionally steep over rocks and ledges. This is how ecological Ötztal mountain biking bliss is achieved.
Signature Trails in Ötztal, Tyrol
The Leiterberg Trail takes us to the natural and, in terms of technique, challenging side of Sölden. The high alpine trail leads with plenty of views into the valley.
The Leiterberg Trail can be comfortably accessed by taking the Giggijochbahn gondola lift and the Harbe Line. The first part is a panorama trail with incredible views to the mountain world of the Ötztal Valley Alps. The pleasantly flowy trail leads along the contour lines to the Leiteralm.
Leaving the Leiteralm, the final part of the trail has been created especially for bikers and continues in the forest. The diverse but also in part rather steep terrain awaits with roots, rocks and terraces. This section is part of the manually created natural trail in the Bike Republic – there are also lines shaped by machines, like the Teäre Line.
WORTH KNOWING
The fact that Sölden has established its own Bike Republic is not particularly surprising: with over 300 km of bike routes, the entire region is an absolute paradise for mountain and downhill bikers, providing opportunities for riders of various skill levels to indulge in their passion.

The eBikepark in Ötz is the first of its kind in Tyrol and impresses not only with its Uphill-Flow but also with various difficulty levels of trails, allowing riders to ease into e-mountain biking perfectly.
