The Jamnica Trail Park is a real little gem surrounded by lush green landscapes – the perfect retreat for trail lovers.
The Jamnica Trail Park – a widely ramified trail system created by Anej and Dixi Strucl – is situated in a dense forest exactly opposite the Petzen. The trails follow the natural gradient of the slope and delight with lush forest ground and technical finesses time and again.
Anej and Dixi created the trails together with friends and staff of the bike community. The trails can be used free of charge, making it easy to leave a voluntary donation at the entrance. Anyone interested in learning more about the region Koroška can do so by exploring the trails at the Petzen or by going biking below ground with Anej.
WORTH KNOWING
Koroška is not only known for its mountains but also for its regional bread. The black or rye bread is baked in soapstone ovens according to orally transmitted recipes and still tastes fresh even after several days.
INSIDER TIP
In the former mine under the Petzen, you can bike in the abandoned tunnels or take a boat ride 800 meters below ground. Definitely an adventure of a different kind!

Stairs in front of the house: Sounds unspectacular, but from here, you have a great view of the Petzen, and coffee and beer taste especially good.
