Signature Trail in Leogang
The new Alteschmiede Trail starts above the mountain station on the Asitz and turns right after around 350 metres. The hand-built single trail offers magnificent views of the Leogang Steinberge mountains and leads through natural forest and alpine meadows. Perfect for unique souvenir photos! Flowing turns, Northshores and easy technical passages ensure variety and maximum riding fun. The trail is divided into five sections, each with its own charm.

There is a special tip for advanced bikers: at the end of the Alteschmiede Trail, follow the forest road to the lower part of the Matzalm Trail (note: difficult!). Have fun biking!
With the Alteschmiede Trail, Austria’s largest bike region is expanding its range of single trails and offers bike-loving families with experience the perfect trail experience. You can really let off steam here on 3.35 kilometres of trails!
