Signature Trail in Tramin - South Tyrolean Unterland
A trail? No, an entire trail tour! The MTB Singletrail Corno di Tres is a full-fledged trail tour where you soak up the South Tyrolean Dolce Vita. The starting point – and namesake – of the MTB natural trail is the 1,812 meters high Tresner Horn in the southern part of the Mendel Range. Stops are made in the lush vineyards, and the destination is the crystal-clear Lake Kaltern. In between, there are 1,970 meters in altitude.

Tradition meets modern: whereas wine growing has been a passion of the people in Tramin for centuries, mountain biking is a more recent passion. Yet this doesn’t make the passion any less intense, as the region is surrounded by a beautiful alpine landscape that makes it predestined to become a great MTB destination!
A must for experienced mountain bikers is the Corno di Tres, directly on the South Tyrolean Wine Route. The challenging trail tour takes you up to 1,970 metres with constant panoramic views of the vineyards and crystal-clear Lake Kaltern, which is the perfect place to take a refreshing dip in summer after enjoying your adrenaline kick.

Wine cultivation has a long tradition here, shaping the landscape, architecture, and gastronomy. Among vineyards ranging from 200 to 1,000 meters in altitude, one can enjoy the largest variety of locations in South Tyrol.
