The Passo Nota trail, like the pass that gave it its name, offers breathtaking views of the distance and depths. The trail is not particularly demanding in terms of riding technique, but you should always be careful with the typical Lake Garda subsoil. Its accessibility will put a smile on the faces of many bikers.

Dream pass for MTB fans – Passo Nota
If you want to get on your bike and gain metres in altitude, the route up to Passo Nota is just the thing for you. The circular tour offers steep climbs and rocky descents – but also challenges fit MTB fans. There are several kilometres and almost 900 metres of altitude to climb. Passo Nota lies on the border between Trentino and Lombardy. It is an area rich in meadows and forests, between the mountains of the Upper Lake Garda area and the Garda classic Passo Tremalzo. On the hills surrounding the Rifugio Passo Nota there are Italian trenches from the First World War and a small military cemetery where the war dead are buried.

The Alto Garda Bresciano Park was founded in 1989 and is located in the upper part of Lake Garda in the province of Brescia, one of the largest provinces in Lombardy. The words “Brescia” and “Garda” probably have Celtic origins and mean “peak, hill, elevation, fortress, bulwark” and “place of observation and guarding” respectively. The landscape of the park is characterised by rocks, natural terraces, forests and peaks.

To the south of Limone lies the tiny hamlet of
Campione del Garda. It is the only part of the village of Tremosine that is not located on the plateau, but on a narrow spit of land directly on Lake Garda. High rock faces shield the village, making it only accessible through a tunnel or by boat. The breathtaking waterfall of Campione del Garda offers a refreshing dip; the green-blue water of the grotto invites you to take a dip.
